A man with multiple gunshot wounds was found in a burning car in Cahokia Heights, leading to a major investigation by police and the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis. The incident occurred late Tuesday night in the 5800 block of Mitchell Lane, where first responders discovered the victim in a crashed vehicle, according to First Alert 4.
According to the FOX 2 report, the incident occurred in an apartment complex parking lot where two vehicles collided, causing one car to catch fire.
