
A man was critically injured in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Baden neighborhood of St. Louis. The 45-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his torso around 3:40 p.m. in the 8800 block of Lowell. According to a report from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, he was discovered in an alley after officers arrived in response to the shooting call.
Due to the extent of his injuries, the man was unable to give a statement to police. Emergency Medical Services quickly transported him to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, with detectives from District 6 examining the circumstances of the incident.
