Mankato residents, get ready to say goodbye to the fall foliage on your lawns. The annual leaf pick-up service for the City of Mankato is set to kick off next Monday. According to a social media announcement by the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government, leaf collection will start on October 28 and is slated to continue through November 22, weather permitting.
City officials say the service aims to accommodate the natural timeline when the majority of leaves have descended, marking the transition from autumnal exhibition to winter’s prelude. Scheduled to last for around four weeks. Residents can learn more about the service through the link provided by the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government.
