In a move that bolsters the city's police force, Acting Mayor Hanson recently swore in Officer Nana Pha to the Maple Grove Police Department during a city council meeting held on October 7.
According to the Maple Grove Police Department's Facebook page, was an official moment of transition for Pha, who has vowed to serve the community diligently. The Acting Mayor, joining the ranks of many who seem to quickly embrace the potential that new officers hold, expressed excitement at the skill set and fresh perspective Pha is expected to bring. The post read, "Congratulations to our newest officer! We're excited to see the positive impact you’ll make in our community."
