The Blount County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for three teenagers from Maryville who were reported missing by their families on Saturday morning. Ava Whitehead-Nitzband, 15, Chase Rogan, 16, and Landon Brown, 15, were last seen on Friday night when they left without permission. According to WVLT-TV, officials are asking for any information that might lead to locating the teens.
The report describes the vehicle the teens are believed to be traveling in as a blue 2021 Ford F250 truck with Tennessee plates marked 674-BNNL, and there's a possibility they might be heading toward Kentucky. Last seen Friday night, the urgency to find them has the community on alert and the authorities seeking public assistance stated the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
Area residents are encouraged to be on the lookout and contact the sheriff's office with any relevant information. "If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals, please call Blount County Dispatch non-emergency number at 865-983-3620," urged the sheriff's office in a statement obtained by WBIR.
Additionally, the sheriff's office has taken to social media to amplify the search efforts, sharing photos and details of the missing juveniles. Bearing a Tennessee registration of 674BNNL, the Sheriff’s Office launched a direct appeal to the public for assistance through Blount County Sheriff's Office's official Facebook page.
