Miami residents can expect a mix of relatively temperate conditions and intermittent showers over the next several days, alongside a noticeable shift in humidity levels. While skies will generally remain partly cloudy today, a cold front predicted to push through later in the day promises to usher in lower humidity and cooler evening breezes, according to the National Weather Service's forecast and NBC Miami's latest weather update.
The forecast implies a subtle, yet welcomed change with highs reaching around 85 degrees before the front, then potential highs will grapple with the low-80-degree mark in its wake. NBC Miami reports a few showers and a possible storm may precede the front, followed by "a noticeable change in the feel out there by the evening." As the front lingers, from tomorrow through to the weekend, residents should anticipate brisk northeast winds that might exacerbate the current King Tide cycle, with morning temperatures dropping into the low-70s.
Particularly, Friday and Saturday are set to be blustery, courtesy of the persistent northeast winds contributing to higher chances of showers as the front drifts north. The NBC Miami forecast also suggests that winds will remain gusty throughout this period, emphasizing that this will "definitely go down as a blustery weekend."
As the weekend progresses, the National Weather Service predicts a continued likelihood of showers and thunderstorms until Sunday when the potential for rain somewhat diminishes. Miami can look forward to highs near 84 degrees and a noticeable, easing back of showers. Following which, the dawn of a new week promises sunnier skies with highs maintaining a consistent presence in the mid-80s, though residents should keep umbrellas at hand for the occasional shower.
