A 28-year-old woman, Patience Haney, who was reported critically missing on Tuesday, has been found safe, officials confirmed. Haney, who lives with multiple disabilities including cerebral palsy and partial deafness, as well as suffering from depression and anxiety, had last been spotted on Tuesday evening leaving her Forest Park home. According to WLWT, she was wearing black pants, a blue jacket, and silver boots at the time of her disappearance.
In an update from Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services, they conveyed that Haney was found Wednesday night. Her history of running away from care providers was noted, and in past instances, she was located in Green Township. As reported by FOX19, Haney had given false information about her identity to officers in some situations.
The alert issued by Forest Park Police, which had sparked considerable local concern, was officially canceled following her safe recovery. While confirming her safety, the police department did not provide immediate details on the circumstances under which Haney was found or where. She had left her home at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting the now-canceled alert. Local12 outlined this information.
