After an extensive search, Cosby was found and has been safely reunited with his family. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Cosby Jr. was last seen yesterday and was in need of medical care.
Before he was found, police activated a Mattie's Call, a Georgia emergency missing alert for disabled or elderly persons, due to Cosby's specific medical requirements following a recent stroke. Gwinnett County authorities appealed to the public to quickly help to locate the man, who also has a distinctive shuffle when walking. This information was confirmed by the WSB-TV reporting on the search.
Cosby Jr. is described as standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a teal long-sleeve shirt, gray shorts, and gray slippers. Details about his appearance and the clothing he was last known to be wearing were widely circulated in hopes that someone would recognize him and provide leads on his whereabouts.
The Gwinnett County Police Department had encouraged anyone with information to come forward and provided a phone number for their detectives.
