After several days, the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office has announced that they have found Chloe Cooper, the 20-year-old whose disappearance raised local concern. According to WSBTV, officials stated that Chloe left her home "of her own will," concluding the investigation that began when she was reported missing last Monday. This update follows her family's lack of contact since she was seen getting into a white 4-door vehicle that morning.
Despite initially fearing the worst, as revealed in an interview with FOX 5 Atlanta, Chloe's family members described her as introverted and a minimalist, expressing a deep sense of displacement during her absence. "This is something that is not like her at all. It's totally not her character," her mother, Paulette Morgan said.
During the period of her unknown whereabouts, local law enforcement conducted an investigation, contacting rideshare companies and reviewing bank records. Chloe's mother expressed the family's concerns when speaking to FOX 5 Atlanta, "That is the thing, the not knowing. Every parent wants to know your child is safe." Rockdale County investigators were gathering clues about her movements by canvassing the neighborhood and using information from residents, aiming to locate Chloe and ensure her safe return.
