
Morrison County residents, mark your calendars. The Morrison County Board of Commissioners is embarking on a week of meetings that will touch on various matters of community concern. According to a recent public notice, the board's schedule includes a mix of planning sessions, environmental discussions, and healthcare meetings from October 27 through November 2.
On October 28 at 9:00 am, the HRA Office in Little Falls will set the scene for discussions on housing-related matters. Later that day, the SECB Planning Meeting is slated to commence at 10:00 am in the Board Room at City Hall, St. Cloud, as detailed by Morrison County. A conversation that intends to foster community ties, the Good Neighbor Meeting, will take place at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls, rounding out the day's commitments at 4:30 pm.
Wednesday, October 29 is packed starting with an 8:30 am Planning Session in the County Board Room at the Government Center. Water quality and management within the region will be on the agenda at 2:00 pm through the Mississippi River One Watershed One Plan meeting, hosted by Crow Wing Land Services in Brainerd. The PC/BOA will then gather at 6:00 pm back at the County Board Room in Little Falls.
After a brief reprieve, the week concludes on November 1 with an 8:30 am meeting concerning solid waste and recycling issues. The TSWAC is set to meet at the Landfill located in Little Falls. Morrisson County is making an effort to be inclusive, urging anyone needing accommodations to dial 320-632-0296 at least 48 hours before the meeting to ensure participation is possible for all interested parties.
