A carjacking that occurred on Wednesday evening in the parking garage of the 400 block of 14th Street, Southeast is currently under investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department. At roughly 6:23 p.m. on October 30, the suspects confronted the victim.
One of the suspects produced a handgun and demanded the car keys, the victim, complying with the demands, handed over their keys and the suspects fled with the victim's vehicle, a 2019 white Audi Q7 with Virginia plate number 2687EB which was also followed by a second vehicle, though additional details on this second vehicle have not yet been disclosed, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department.
There is an offer of a reward of up to $10,000 from the MPD for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for this or any other violent crime in the District.
