
A suspect wanted in connection with a February sexual assault at a Nashville park has been apprehended, several states away in Minnesota, officials confirmed. 28-year-old Ali Alladin Ali, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Minneapolis in relation to a rape that occurred on Feb. 6 at Peeler Park in Nashville, according to WSMV.
Ali is accused of meeting the victim on a dating site before the assault. The Nashville Metro Police Department (MNPD) stated that Ali was supposed to give the woman a ride to work, instead, he drove her to Peeler Park where the alleged sexual assault took place. The police report noted he forcibly made her perform oral sex on him and threatened her life during the incident, as detailed by WKRN.
Ali now faces multiple charges, including aggravated rape, rape, attempted rape, and aggravated kidnapping. MNPD relayed the details of the arrest on social media stating, "Wanted rape suspect Ali Alladin Ali, 28, was arrested this afternoon in Minneapolis for charges from a 2/6 incident where a woman he met on a dating site was sexually assaulted in Peeler Park."
