The New Orleans Police Department is currently delving into a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting in Algiers. The incident, which took place on Saturday night, left one individual dead after sustaining a gunshot wound. According to authorities, the call came in around 11:20 p.m., directing officers to the 3200 block of General De Gaulle Drive, WGNO reports.
