
New Orleans Police Department are on the lookout for two individuals suspected of theft by fraud. The incident took place on October 9, in the 300 block of Canal Street, where a victim reported their cellphone and wallet stolen. New Orleans Police Department provided video surveillance images of the alleged perpetrators and is seeking the public's help in identifying them.
According to a statement obtained by New Orleans Police Department News, the suspects made a series of fraudulent charges on the victim's accounts after the theft. The New Orleans Police Department has released the surveillance footage in the hopes that members of the community can assist in the identification process. Nabbed on camera, the suspects' images were recorded, eerily betraying no hint of the deceit those smiles would later be accused of concealing.
