The New Orleans Police Department is currently seeking help from the public to identify a suspect involved in a burglary case. The incident took place at a business on the 300 block of Decatur Street last Monday, around 9:18 a.m. The New Orleans Police Department released an image of the suspect whom they believe may frequently visit the area around Bienville and Decatur Streets.
A spokesperson for New Orleans Police Department disclosed that during the burglary, an amount of cash was taken from the business. The authorities are hoping to tap into community resources to swiftly apprehend the individual.
New Orleans Police Department officials urge anyone with any knowledge about the crime, or who might be able to help to positively identify the suspect, to contact the Eighth District detectives. Tips can be shared by calling 504-658-6080. There is also the option for informants to remain anonymous by opting to convey what they know through a call to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 instead.
