Abron, a 14-year-old who plays both running back and safety for the KIPP Morial Wolfpack. In a celebrated outing on the gridiron last Wednesday, October 16, Ke'Jon’s scored two touchdowns, sealing a win against their rivals, the KIPP Central City Tigers.
The KIPP Ernest N. "Dutch" Morial Charter School, which will host its homecoming game tomorrow, has also spotlighted Ke’Jon as its 8th-grade homecoming king – an honor that speaks to his standing not just as an athlete but a leader among his peers, dominating on defense and yet it isn't all for the Wolfpack's versatile player. He has also laid his mark on the fields of basketball and on the tracks, inspired by Alvin Kamara, drawing accolades for his multi-sport dedication, as per New Orleans Recreation Development.
Ke'Jon’s enrichment of NORD’s Middle School Division has rippled from the field to the hallways of his school, embodying the spirit of leadership that the Athlete of the Week program aims to celebrate.
