As the days inch forward and the calendar marks over a month since her disappearance, the search intensifies for 15-year-old Rosie Savetha Cristo, who is reported missing in Osceola County since September 17. According to a news release from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Rosie was last observed in the 1600 block of Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, vanishing soon after an early morning argument with her parents, as per ClickOrlando.
Rosie left her abode, stepping into the uncertain predawn hush around 1:45 a.m., captured momentarily by the mechanical gaze of a doorbell camera, her disappearance wasn't reported until 10:22 p.m. that same day. She stood about 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighed approximately 140 pounds, showcased brown eyes beneath her shoulder-length brown hair with hues of purple at the tips, wore a distinct piercing on the left side of her nose, and was seen with a gray shirt that featured blue stripes on its sleeves, carrying a blue backpack, according to FOX 35 Orlando.
The young girl, who detectives note has no prior history of running away and who does not suffer from any medical conditions, has thus far eluded the efforts of authorities to locate her. The sheriff’s office, eager to peel back the layers of this mystery, is asking anyone who "saw anything unusual in the area of O’Berry Road, off Pleasant Hill Road, on the night of September 17," to come forward with information, as per ClickOrlando.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office continues their plea for public assistance, urging anyone with a sliver of information about Rosie's current whereabouts or anyone who might have seen even a whisper of something out of place on that sleepless September night to reach out at (407) 348-2222 or to make an anonymous call to Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS, these details underscored by a report by FOX 35 Orlando.
