An 18-year-old man was taken into custody following a reported robbery and shooting incident at an Oxford, Mississippi hotel, as per announcements from the Oxford Police Department. On the evening of October 20, authorities responded to a distress call concerning gunshots fired within the hotel premises. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered an empty room, void of both suspects and the victim.
Subsequent to their initial discovery, law enforcement officers were informed of a gunshot casualty at the Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi. Christopher Suggs Jr., 18, of Oxford, emerged as the primary suspect.
