As the cobwebbed corners of October unfold, Plymouth residents are gearing up for a spooky celebration with the annual Halloween at the Lake event. Scheduled for 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 at Parkers Lake Playfield, located at 15500 County Road 6, this family-friendly gathering promises a plethora of Halloween-themed activities.
The city, mindful of the parking constraints, is advocating for the use of a complimentary shuttle service courtesy of Plymouth Metrolink. Revelers can catch a ride to and from the festivities, with shuttles running between 4:45 and 8:15 p.m., the pick-up point being Plymouth Corporate Center at 1405 Xenium Lane N. A boon for many, this free transport service aims to alleviate the perennial scrambles for parking that often mar such community events.
Those attending Halloween at the Lake can look forward to a diverse array of attractions suitable for the whole family. According to an announcement from the city, the event will feature inflatables, diverse food trucks, and Halloween games such as pumpkin bowling and golf. For an added twist of entertainment, an apple launcher will be featured alongside bingo games. For those looking to groove, a DJ and dance party are also on the slate, setting the scene for a festive evening under the autumn sky.
