The City of Prescott, Arizona, has made a public announcement about its plans to lease designated airport property for the purpose of aircraft storage. The details of the offering specify two separate parcels, with specific limitations on their use, the first of which includes approximately 58,780 square feet, housing 12 tie-down spots situated on the South ramp with Taxiway C access, according to the City of Prescott's announcement.
The second parcel, slightly more modest in size, boasts roughly 5,632 square feet and features 5 tie-down spots; it also presents prime positioning on the South ramp with frontage on Taxiway C. As per the leasing notice, the prescribed use of these plots is strictly limited, ensuring that the leased spaces contribute to the orderly and efficient storage of private and commercially owned aircraft.
This planned lease plays a part in the broader vision for the regional airport, which has been experiencing an increase in traffic and economic activity. With Prescott's economy on the rise and the local aviation community expanding, these leases could offer enhanced serviceability and revenue generation for the city.
