The Quincy Police Department is actively seeking public assistance in the case of a missing 34-year-old woman, Pierina Fernandes, who was last observed near Eastern Nazarene College last Wednesday, at approximately 10:30 in the morning. According to the notification issued by local authorities, Fernandes is described as being approximately 5'5" in height with a medium build. Her hair is black, her eyes are brown, and importantly, she is 30 weeks pregnant.
The report adds that Fernandes, whose primary language is Portuguese, though also speaks basic English, reportedly has mental health issues, despite not having a formal diagnosis. A reference photograph distributed by the authorities offers a glimpse into the clothing she was last seen wearing. With no friends or family known to be in the vicinity, her whereabouts are even more pressing to locate. Anyone with information on Fernandes's location is encouraged to promptly contact the Quincy Police at (617) 479-1212.
The situation is rendered more delicate by the condition of Fernandes, as expecting mothers require specific care and attention, a dimension that surely adds urgency to the efforts to find her. The community and local law enforcement are making collaborative efforts, spreading the word and combing the area thoroughly, yet, as of this report, their endeavors have yet to bear fruit.
