A road rage incident occurred in DeKalb County yesterday when two individuals were shot. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the event took place along Wesley Chapel Road near Snapfinger Woods Drive, leading to a heavy police presence in the area.
The afternoon scene was captured from above by SKYFOX 5, showing a vehicle marked by bullet holes being loaded onto a flatbed tow truck. The DeKalb County Police Department found two individuals who had been shot and quickly transported them for medical care. Although details about the confrontation were limited, the area was visibly affected, with a lane and turn lane blocked off by crime scene tape.
Further report by 11Alive indicated that the victims, a 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, sustained graze wounds during the incident. Authorities are still working to determine whether those injured were bystanders or participants in the shooting
