As the investigation into the murder of Stacey Dramiga continues to unfold, Bexar County sheriff's investigators are reaching out to the public for assistance. Nearly a month has passed since the 63-year-old was reported missing after going for a walk along the Salado Creek Greenway. Her body was later discovered, with the Medical Examiner’s Office citing head trauma as the cause of death, as reported by KSAT. In an effort to generate new leads, authorities have enlisted San Antonio Crime Stoppers to help, potentially offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the killer's arrest.

So far, the only arrest made has been of Marco Antonio Flores, a 37-year-old man apprehended on charges of evading arrest, after exhibiting suspicious behavior near the crime scene. Although Sheriff Javier Salazar mentioned Flores had "seem at that time that he knew a little too much about the homicide case," he is currently considered a "person of interest" rather than a suspect, according to a statement obtained by KSAT. Investigators are hoping to soon convincingly identify and charge the individual accountable for this act.

At one month mark since the murder, Sheriff Salazar emphasized the importance of community cooperation, saying, "it really never fails, at some point somebody will say something," in a statement obtained by KENS 5. Despite having some leads and physical evidence, his belief remains that the Crime Stoppers reward might compel someone with crucial information to step forward.

Dramiga's case has united the community in their grief and pursuit of justice. More than 75 people joined a commemorative walk organized by San Antonio Hikers, Campers and Backpackers. Andrea Craddock, a colleague of Dramiga, shared the collective spirit of the group, telling KENS 5, "She was such a selfless person. She would help anyone around her if she could." The event honored Dramiga and highlighted the importance of community awareness and support.
