A lottery player in Arizona has won $1 million. FOX 10 Phoenix reported that a winning ticket for The Pick was sold at a Circle K store in Scottsdale over the weekend. The store, located at Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard, has gained attention since the drawing last Saturday.
Hitting the jackpot with the numbers 13, 21, 24, 25, 32 and 42, the winner has yet to step forward and claim their prize. Having also produced another notable winner, last Saturday's Powerball drawing resulted in a $50,000 ticket that was sold at a Fry's Marketplace in Buckeye, according to ABC15. The Fry's, found near Yuma and Watson Roads, sold the secondary prize ticket with winning numbers 7, 16, 19, 45, 64 and the red Powerball 25.
Officials from the Arizona Lottery are encouraging players to check their tickets. Double-checking could reveal unclaimed prizes, including a $1 million ticket and a $50,000 ticket that are still held by unknown winners. The community is experiencing excitement over these potential wins, with residents considering the possibility that the winner could be someone they know.
