The disappearance of a 66-year-old woman who reportedly fell overboard from Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas has resulted in a suspended search operation. This announcement was made by the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast on their X account.

The incident occurred about 17 miles from Nassau in the Bahamas. The U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Bahamas Defense Force had begun a rescue effort after the report of her absence late Tuesday night, as detailed by Hoodline.
The ship from which the unnamed female guest fell was part of a themed excursion celebrating Taylor Swift's work, though it was not directly associated with the singer. The week-long journey departed from Miami and included Swift-inspired events like karaoke, trivia, and themed parties. It remains unclear if the missing woman was part of the fan-led cruise group "In My Cruise Era," according to NBC Miami.
In the face of adversity, Royal Caribbean has voiced their commitment to the passenger's family. "We are also providing support and assistance to the guest’s family during this difficult time," the spokesperson said, respecting the privacy of those affected and sharing no further details as per a statement obtained by NBC Miami.
The search has been called off pending any new developments, and the Coast Guard has demobilized their HC-144 airplane and MH-65 Dolphin helicopter involved in the initial response. The Allure of the Seas is set to return to Miami as scheduled tomorrow, remaining at sea after the search operations ended.
