The shooting, which officials say occurred during a bout of road rage on September 21st at 336 Harding Place, is now the subject of an active investigation by Specialized Investigations Division detectives.
The suspect, still at large, was last seen driving a silver Ford Expedition, which is estimated to be a model from between 1997 and 2002. This detail emerged from a surveillance photo released by police. Witnesses described the assailant as a heavy-set white male in his 30s, identifiable by his distinctive bald head, beard, and several face tattoos—including a teardrop on the left side of his face, according to the police department's official report.
Following the incident, the victim was promptly transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, suffering from gunshot wounds to his legs. Fortunately, the injuries were not life-threatening. The shooter was last seen fleeing the scene along Harding Place, heading toward I-24 in the aforementioned silver Expedition.

The direct plea for public assistance underscores the urgent need to swiftly bring the perpetrator to justice.
