My heart is with the Gullah Geechee community and those Georgians who were in attendance at the annual Sapelo Cultural Day celebration."
The senator also announced plans for a meeting of the Senate Committee on Urban Affairs to investigate the circumstances of the accident. Along with her Democratic colleagues, Senator James aims to establish measures to reduce the risk of similar incidents in the future.
