For all residents of Sherburne County, early voting can be conducted at the Sherburne County Government Center, located in the Auditor/Treasurer Department at 13880 Business Center Dr NW, Elk River, according to the county’s announcement. The center is open during standard business hours from Monday to Friday until November 4, specifically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
For those looking to vote outside of the traditional work week, the Government Center also provides additional times. Saturday sessions are available on October 26 and November 2 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. They will additionally open on Tuesday, October 29 until from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and again on Sunday, November 3 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On the day before Election Day, Monday, November 4, hours will extend from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to allow more time for voters to cast their ballots.
Elk River residents have the option to cast their ballots at Elk River City Hall located at 13065 Orono Parkway. Voting hours at this location mirror typical office working hours, running from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Residents of St. Cloud in Ward 2 Precincts 5, 6, and 7 should note that the St. Cloud City Hall location is no longer a viable option for absentee voting for Sherburne County. Instead, those voters can visit the Sherburne County Government Center during the aforementioned times. This includes the weekend and extended weekday hours that are designed to provide greater accessibility to the ballot box.
