In a recent social media post that has the locals abuzz, the City of St. Louis Park announced an event that promises to mash together the spirit of Halloween with the chill of ice skating. The aptly named "Goblins on Ice" will slide into town on Friday, Oct. 25, providing a unique twist on the traditional Halloween celebrations.
"Ready to boo-gie??" the post playfully asks, inviting participants to don their best ghoulish gear. The indoor fun is slated to spark up at the Rec Center from noon to 1:30 p.m., while the later crowd can glide under the stars from 5:45 to 7 p.m. at the Recreation Outdoor Center.
And for those who don't own a pair of blades, the city has got you covered—free rental skates are all set to be available, according to the City of St. Louis Park. "Let's have a skele-TON of fun," the announcement cheerily concludes.
