In a recent incident in The Greater Ville, a woman was victimized in a violent domestic scenario. According to a report from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the 35-year-old was assaulted and robbed by a man she identified as her ex-boyfriend late at night on Thursday.
While walking home, around 10 p.m. in the 3600 block of N. Taylor, the suspect, brandishing a handgun, attacked her. He choked the victim, threw her to the ground, and forcibly took her belongings before fleeing. Running from the scene, nothing but echoes of strife were left behind and questions about the depth of a past shared between the woman and her assailant, she refused to disclose further details about him to the officers.
As a consequence of the assault, the woman sustained minor injuries. Despite the harm inflicted upon her, she declined any medical treatment. Currently, the circumstances of the case remain under investigation by District 6.
