Two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with an armed robbery at a Nashville jewelry store, where over $1.7 million in valuables was taken. According to a report from WSMV, the robbery occurred at Dubai Jewelry on Nolensville Pike, with a haul that included a $95,000 belt and a gold bar valued at $190,000. The suspects, 34-year-old Orlando Valdes Hernandez and 38-year-old Milleni Garcia, were arrested by the Miami Beach Police Department in Florida.
The WKRN report detailed that the pair allegedly employed pepper spray against employees, forced them into a back room, and, managed to flee with the pricey items. It was just days later when MNPD's call for assistance led to the apprehension of the duo in Miami Beach, accompanied by the recovery of stolen jewelry, cash, and a wig.
Metro Nashville Police Department is continuing their search for an additional suspect reportedly involved in the heist. In a social media statement posted by Metro Nashville PD, the department urged anyone with information about the unidentified third accomplice to contact Crime Stoppers. A reward offering for pertinent information leading to capture was highlighted, furthering their commitment to resolving the case.

Authorities are not working this case alone, as assistance from federal and local law enforcement, including the FBI, and Nashville International Airport Police is contributing to the investigation efforts. Yet, despite the arrests and recovery of some items, there remains a need for public assistance. "Jewelry, cash & wig recovered," authorities added, indicating that the police at least had some evidence to work with as they continue piecing together the crime.
