
Law enforcement in Anne Arundel County has taken swift action in recovering a stolen vehicle and making an arrest in Brooklyn Park. Today, officers pulled over a 2011 Honda CR-V at the intersection of 12th Avenue and Ritchie Highway due to missing tags, a stop that led to both an arrest and the recovery of the vehicle, which had been reported stolen,
The Anne Arundel County Police Department praised their officers for their work, saying on their official social media, "Huge shoutout to the Northern District Officers for their outstanding work on a recent arrest," and adding, "Your swift action continues to make our community a safer place. Keep up the great work!" During the stop, it was found that, in addition to the vehicle being stolen, the tags attached were also reported stolen, and the driver had outstanding warrants.

The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Walder Perdomo-Barnica from Glen Burnie, Maryland, was taken into custody without incident. This marks yet another case of diligent police work aimed at curbing vehicle theft in the area.
