Two Atlanta teenagers were shot last night near Greenbriar Mall. FOX 5 Atlanta reports that officers arrived at the 3100 block of Greenbriar Parkway SW around 9:50 p.m. and found a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to his right arm and a 16-year-old with a bullet wound to his right hip.
The wounds suffered by the youths were severe but not life-threatening, both were conscious and able to speak with paramedics before their transport to a local hospital. Atlanta News First notes that detectives from APD's Aggravated Assault Unit are investigating the case, reviewing the details to understand the circumstances that led to the gunfire.
The names of the youths have not been publicly released. Atlanta Police have not confirmed whether they are looking for one or multiple suspects connected to the shooting.
