The curtains at The Muny are set to rise on an exciting 107th season, featuring a mix of shows making their Forest Park debut alongside popular Broadway hits. In a recent event that was both invite-only and live-streamed, the lineup for the 2025 season was unveiled to enthusiastic audiences worldwide.
The Muny's Emerson Studio has announced four new shows: "Dear Evan Hansen," "Come From Away," "Bring It On: The Musical," and "Disney’s Frozen." Additionally, "Evita," "La Cage Aux Folles," and "Jersey Boys" will return this season, according to Broadway World.
Artistic Director and Executive Producer of The Muny, Mike Isaacson, conveyed his enthusiasm about the upcoming season, expressing, "After our epic journey together last summer, it's a joy to share this bold, thrilling lineup for 2025," a sentiment he shared in a statement covered by Broadway World. Show dates are scheduled for the summer months. "Bring It On: The Musical" will run from June 16–25, followed by "Come From Away" from June 26 to July 2. "Disney's Frozen" will be on stage from July 6–14. "Evita" and "Dear Evan Hansen" will perform later in July. "La Cage Aux Folles," last seen at The Muny in the early '80s, returns from August 8–14, and "Jersey Boys" will close the season from August 18–24.
