A devastating blaze claimed the lives of an individual and their pet dog in Seaside, Oregon, when a trailer caught fire yesterday morning. According to KOIN, the fire at Pine Cove Trailer Park, located just off Highway 101, elicited a swift response from emergency personnel.
Around 2:30 a.m., the quiet of the early morning was interrupted as police and fire crews rushed to a fire. The flames lit up the night sky, prompting officers to evacuate nearby residents for their safety. Despite the firefighters' hard work, the fire continued to rage. By 2:43 a.m., they had managed to put it out, but sadly, they found the homeowner and their dog dead in the ruins.
KGW reported that officials still don’t know what caused the fire or the deaths. The investigation continued yesterday morning, with police taking control of the scene around 4:06 a.m.
