Two individuals have died as a result of a shooting that took place on Monday afternoon in the Slidell area. The incident occurred outside a business located at the corner of Gause Boulevard and Military Road, just shy of 4:00 p.m. When deputies arrived in response to the shooting report, they discovered both victims had suffered gunshot wounds, according to a report by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female was rushed by emergency medical staff to a local hospital. Sadly, she too succumbed to a injuries later at the healthcare facility. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has since confirmed that the investigation is still in progress, but current evidence suggests that the motive might have been domestic.
