Tragedy struck the community of Henderson earlier this week as law enforcement responded to a double homicide on Black Rock Hills Drive. In a press release from the City of Henderson, authorities reported that on Friday, at 5:56 p.m., two individuals were found dead in a residence, both sustaining fatal gunshot wounds. The victims, a 20-year-old male and a 44-year-old woman, have yet to be publicly identified as officials continue to next of kin notification procedures.
Following an investigation by the Henderson Police Department, detectives have arrested 41-year-old Karl Groschen in connection to the killings. Groschen was taken into custody without incident and has since been booked at the Henderson Detention Center, charged with two counts of open murder using a deadly weapon, as reported by the City of Henderson.
The Henderson authorities have made a plea for community assistance, asking anyone with information relating to the case to step forward, as per the City of Henderson.
