
Violence erupted once again on the streets of Atlanta in an incident that left two young men, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, with gunshot wounds in an event that unfolded on September 30th, just before the evening took a dark turn into night, according to Atlanta Police Department reports. The scene at 177 Moury Avenue SW became the focal point for first responders who rushed to aid the victims after receiving reports of the shooting at approximately 6:05PM.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered the two individuals in dire conditions, both suffering from gunshot wounds; the 18-year-old male was struck in the right shoulder while the 19-year-old male suffered an injury to his back despite their injuries, both were found to be alert, conscious, and breathing at the scene, offering a beacon of hope for their potential recovery, with the 18-year-old being self-transported to the hospital and the 19-year-old being taken by ambulance.
