
Early morning traffic on Nature Road in Bellevue Township was disrupted yesterday when an 18-year-old driver, identified as Mason Hoheisel of Pierz, MN, lost control of his vehicle resulting in a rollover collision. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred near 190th Avenue, about one mile east of Royalton.
The single-vehicle accident was called in at 5:58 am, according to a statement from the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, Hoheisel, who was driving westbound on Nature Road, went off the roadway and rolled his vehicle, he was alone at the time of the accident, he refused medical treatment at the scene, the reasons for his loss of control are still under investigation the Sheriff's Office continues its investigation into this matter.
Assistance at the scene was provided by various emergency service departments, including the Royalton Fire Department, the Minnesota State Patrol, and the Mayo Clinic Ambulance. No other injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office has yet to release further details about the potential causes of the rollover or if any charges are being considered, efforts to promote road safety remain at the forefront as officials work to prevent such incidents in the future.
