Victorville authorities are currently investigating a deadly crash that occurred over the weekend involving a car and a motorcycle. The collision took place on Saturday, October 26, at approximately 5:35 p.m. at the intersection of Nisqualli Road and Ninth Avenue, as reported by the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department's press release available on Nixle.

The incident resulted in the death of a Hesperia man who was operating the blue Yamaha R6 motorcycle. After the motorcycle collided with a gray Honda Pilot in the westbound lanes of Nisqualli Road, just west of Ninth Avenue, the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries. He was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital, where he unfortunately was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigators.

The Victorville Police Station alongside the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel were the first on site to respond to the emergency.

Authorities closed Nisqualli Road between Eleventh Avenue and Ninth Avenue for several hours following the crash to conduct a preliminary investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and the Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team has taken charge. They are now appealing to the public for any leads. Anyone with information about the accident is encouraged to reach out to Deputy M. Lee or Deputy C. Stanley at the Victorville Police Station.
