
A 41-year-old woman was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound to her head in DeKalb County last Friday afternoon. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, DeKalb County Police were called to the 2200 block of Wesley Chapel Road around 4:33 p.m. after the woman was discovered injured in the passenger side of a vehicle. Emergency services transported her to a nearby hospital, but her current condition has not been disclosed.
The incident appears to have originated from a physical dispute in the 2400 block of Leslie Brook Drive. According to police, the disagreement escalated into violence, resulting in gunfire that injured the victim. The woman's identity has not been disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing as authorities seek information.
