The city of Chicago is once again gearing up for festive commutes as the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) rolls out its holiday train and bus schedules. Kickstarting the holiday spirit, the Allstate CTA Holiday Train and Bus are ready to brighten up travel routines with their tradition of colorful lights and seasonal decorations, set to begin later this month, a practice that has been infusing joy into the city's transport system for 33 years.

The train schedule starts on November 29 on the Green and Orange Lines and will wrap on December 23 on the Yellow Line, further being a vessel of goodwill, the CTA will also continue its tradition of delivering food baskets to local charities.
In a bid to make the season even more interactive, designated photo sessions with Santa are planned and will take place on certain dates, allowing families and friends to capture a moment of their holiday escapades.
