
An American Canyon man was arrested after police found an unregistered firearm in his car during a traffic stop related to his alleged involvement in sideshow activities. According to a social media post by the American Canyon Police Department, officers stopped a white Chevy Camaro last Saturday as a part of an investigation into sideshows that had taken place in Richmond, CA.
The driver, identified as 22-year-old Donovan Edwards, a resident of American Canyon, was found to have a loaded Glock 17 handgun that was not registered. Following the discovery, Edwards was arrested and faces felony charges for carrying the unregistered, loaded firearm and possessing a concealed firearm. His involvement with the sideshow activity has not been detailed beyond the initial traffic stop linkage.
Edwards was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections, the police department confirmed.
