In a recent development from the Chicago music scene, an associate of rapper G Herbo has submitted a guilty plea for his involvement in a wire fraud conspiracy, as reported by the Chicago Sun-Times. Terrence Bender, also known in the music industry as "Blends" or "Dopeblends," admitted to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in a Massachusetts federal court.

Along with G Herbo and four other co-defendants, Bender was implicated back in December 2020 for allegedly using stolen credit card information to splash out on luxury items and services, including private jet charters and designer pets. According to WGN-TV, the fraudulent activities spanned from March 2017 to November 2018, affecting numerous businesses and individuals who disputed the illicit transactions.

The manhunt brought forth Bender's surrender to authorities in December 2020, with federal prosecutors now holding him accountable for losses totaling $103,000. G Herbo, whose real name is Herbert Wright III, received a sentence of three years probation earlier this year, while two other co-defendants faced similar sentences of probation. Chicago-area music promoter Antonio Strong was meted out a sterner three-year prison sentence just last month.

As for Bender's sentencing, it's etched in the courtroom calendar for February 27th, leaving the fate of the final co-defendant, Steven Hayes Jr., still hanging in the balance as he awaits trial.
