Commuters in Atlanta should prepare for upcoming changes in traffic patterns starting next week. The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) has announced lane closures on Andrew Young International Boulevard NE, from Piedmont Avenue NE to Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW. Starting this coming Monday, the disruption is for sidewalk and ramp repairs and will occur on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until project completion, according to the ATLDOT website.
ATLDOT advises motorists, to seek alternate routes to avoid delays. During the repair period, one lane will be temporarily closed between Piedmont Avenue NE and Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW. Traffic will be managed to maintain at least one open lane at all times for vehicular traffic.
