Authorities in Atlanta are seeking assistance in finding two men involved in separate armed robberies at gas stations in the metro area. In the first incident, a woman was robbed early in the morning on November 2 at a BP gas station on the 300 block of 14th Street NW, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Police Department, the woman, dealing with a flat tire, was approached by men ostensibly offering help, only to be held up at gunpoint for her possessions.
The suspects, both described as Black males wearing ski masks and distinct athletic shoes, fled the scene and remain at large. In a subsequent, unrelated robbery reported last Monday, the Clayton County Police Department is on the hunt for two men responsible for an armed robbery at the Valero Gas Station off Highway 85 in Riverdale. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. According to Atlanta News First, one suspect accosted the clerk and emptied the register while the other acted as lookout.
After the robbery, the duo reportedly ran towards Warren Drive. Clayton County Police Department is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in their capture.
