Early this morning, patrol officers rushed to an area hospital after a report of a shooting. According to the Baltimore Police Department, a 20-year-old woman had walked into the facility, nursing a gunshot wound that, fortunately, was deemed non-life-threatening.
Following the initial hospital report, investigators determined that the shooting incident occurred on the 6400 block of Fort Smallwood Road. While the young woman survived, the circumstances behind the shooting remain unclear.
