On the night of Halloween, amidst the expected jubilations, Baltimore's Central District was pierced by the sound of gunshots, leading to a teenage boy being injured. According to a media advisory from the Baltimore Police Department, patrol officers near Eutaw and Saratoga Streets yesterday, around 11:16 p.m., responded to the gunfire they heard.
The officers discovered the 17-year-old male victim in the 400 block of Saratoga Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. After medics arrived and administered care, the teenager was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. While details are still emerging, investigators have zeroed in on the 400 block of West Mulberry Street as the location where the actual shooting occurred.
