Over the weekend, the Boston Police Department partnered with the community organization No Books No Ball to help those in need by providing turkeys before Thanksgiving. The initiative aimed to ensure local families had the essentials for the holiday.
According to the Boston Police Department website, Mayor Michelle Wu, Commissioner Michael Cox, and members of the BPD joined officers to support the event. No Books No Ball provided not only turkeys but also other food items to help many Bostonians.
The Boston Police Department expressed on their official site: “We were grateful to spend the time with all who came together for this special event!"
