Over the weekend, Boston police raided a location in Dorchester as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Officers from Districts E-5 and A-7 executed a search warrant at 119 Wrentham Street on Saturday, seizing a large amount of illegal drugs.
According to the Boston Police Department, the raid, which took place around 12:30 PM, led to the discovery and seizure of a considerable quantity of drugs, specifically fentanyl and crack cocaine, alongside an undisclosed sum of money. In the same operation, a 33-year-old resident of Dorchester, Cleifit Cruz, was arrested facing multiple drug-related charges.
Cruz, the central figure in the drug bust, is currently in custody and will face arraignment at Dorchester District Court. He is charged with trafficking fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
